Not too arrogant. Just to smart to accept your BS as the truth. I'd even accept you posting your gross income from 2011 and compare it to your gross income from your 1st year after transition.

I'm not arrogant--just not willing to put up with your unsubstantiated whining.

SWA buyout?

Nobody has a crystal ball.

Anyone’s company can go bankrupt.

Anyone’s company can be merged or acquired.

Anyone’s domicile can be downsized or closed.

Anyone’s seniority list can be impacted by management decisions.

Anyone can be furloughed, and then furloughed again.

Anyone can ride the wave to the top, only to have the airline collapse and find themselves starting over.

No airline is immune. None of us was prescient in our choice of airlines.

This business has speed bumps. If you think you’ll make it through a 40 year career without hitting any, you had best study a little history.

yes... all very true. This is the business we have chosen. But when your little airline is about to go bankrupt, and you are acquired by the most the stable, profitable airline arguably in the history of commercial aviation, just shut the hell up and acknowledge your good fortune.

First of all, I could care less if you believe that I took a 20-25% pay cut through the forced downgrade or not. If you don’t believe that then you’re just arrogant and ill informed.

GMAFB

I guess I was too literal for you. I obviously meant post your numbers, not the actual document. You didn't pass the tool test.

I made $ 250K last year as an FO, not including profit sharing, per diem or B fund. You have the stones to tell us what you made as a captain your last year at AT ?

Laughing right in the face of the gods of aviation misfortune is never a good idea. Was this your first airline?

I suspect the guys at Eastern, PanAm, TWA and the furloughees from United, American, and Delta all felt equally invincible.

Pride goeth before a fall.

What airlines are you speaking of?

I think he's referring to VX. Anyone can go out of business or go bankrupt but VX was rapidly approaching top of one of those lists. Don't hate me. I don't work for eskimo anymore.
