I bet he knows how to properly use their/there in a sentence. Obviously you dont.
Alaska pilots....arrogant, uneducated, and stuck in a bubble that has been theirs for far to long.
VA pilots didnt ask for this crap sandwich and you should be happy that the VA MEC was at the table with a backbone. Your YES men have put your precious POS airline so far back in the dark ages it is really pathetic.
Your hubris is unbelievable....but understandable.

We are at around 1,000 pilots now and counting as far as I know. As far as your other statements, I believe they have been well covered by a few other individuals.

The real reason FAs get holiday pay is because twenty years ago they adopted the Southwest contract. The have kept it because of sick time use and they have not bargained it away yet.

Spin it however you want. I assure you, Alaska FAs have holiday pay is because without it, there would be major staffing issues.

I wish! I could go straight to line holder CA then. We have system seniority numbers over 1,000 but that is a useless number. When guys leave the company for any reason, their system seniority is not retired. It ends up having a cumulative effect as guys retire/leave and in turn ends up being a useless number.

Including the 10 newhires that started at VX on Dec 11th, we have approx 850 total pilots.

I wish we could avoid the my airplane is better than your airplane, and my airline is/was better than your airline bs. There are a ton of Alaska pilots that want something better. And I’m willing to bet a bunch of VX pilots are going to to end up in front of them in the SLI debate that’s ongoing... Please don’t pretend that VX was better than Alaska in any regard, it simply wasn’t.

Not sure why you're quoting my post, I didn't say those things.

Conde Nast and Travel and Leisure Reader's Choice awards say different. Its been a better experience for the guests--or as you call them "passengers". Your screen name shows that you mainline company kool-aide through an enema. But keep talking, its nice of you to remove all doubt

I see the flaw. Thanks.

We just had a comm about this on the alaskasworld page... what they said was that those awards were awarded by people who loved the “idea” of Virgin America but who never actually purchased tickets and flew on the airline, which explains how VX keeps winnning those awards despite having much lower customer satisfaction numbers than Alaska. It’s what they told us to explain the discrepancy between the current customer satisfaction numbers and your awards...
