Quote: I can tell you mea25000 is not acutely portraying the scope issue.
Care to explain the real story then?

At this moment all I can tell you is that he is not accurate and appears to be bent on pitting one group against the other.

Quote: If that is true that is beyond pathetic! Especially if it goes to a vote, talk about embarrassing.
It has to go to a vote. This is EXACTLY why we got rid of MEC ratification over 20 years ago. Too many sideletters like this tended to appear in the V-files as done deals.

Everything I have written is true. Company came to the union with this new great scope and sold it to the JNC for pennies, who is currently trying to push it out for the rest of the onion to vote on. This would be a huge win for the company, as it would possible gift the industry’s worst scope if we vote it in or they just get a chance to see how ugly (pilot tolerane level) it would get if they force this down our throats, something they promised not to do. The LEC’s should not put this out for a vote. Everyone should call their officers and let them know this. Every VX pilot should call for a recall of their LEC... this will undermine this union

This is a huge deal industry wide. You Alaska guys need to do some soul searching and decide wether or not you want to be the pilot group who undermines what United, Delta and AA have fought for...

How about we wait for something concrete to reach the pilot group before we start freaking out about nothing.

You consistantly say VX should vote for a recall, yet i don't remember you ever saying this for the AS side. Why? If what you say is true, both leadership groups should be held accountable.

Wrong again!!!!!!! It is the MECs that would put this out. And Alaska has been so damm lucky that their in ability or inept union leadship not negotiating a scope clause in all the years prior to this merger has lost more jobs. You can only be lucky for so long then it runs out and when it does there go the jobs. You should be looking very close in the mirror my friend because, every one else is trying to make this crap sandwich of a contract better to the best of their ability. After all, all the years of not standing up and letting crap be shoved down your throat by yes men may in the end screw us all.

If anyone votes for 90 seat scope, I hope they rot in hell. I'd rather see someone cross a picket line than vote for 90 seat scope.

I'd rather go back to flying at a regional than see non-mainline aircraft larger than industry standard. They can offer me a thousand bucks per hour but it won't matter when I'm furloughed.

Don’t fall into his trap he is wrong. He will not admit it and fight venomously to defend his so called truth.

cryptic. If the union thinks any pilot is going to allow 90 seat scope, under any circumstances, they've truly lost it.
