I would say the safe money is placed on a return to a single 737 fleet type over the next 6-10 years.

6-10 years? Alaska will be swallowed up before that. There’s no more hiding out in the little PNW. Either they’re gonna put their big boy britches on and play ball or they’re gonna end up playing behind the visitors dugout playing cup ball.

Yeah right. More like playing dodge ball, because everyone will be taking shots at us. SW intra California and Hawaii, Delta in SEA, and United in SFO.

You all laughed and made fun of Me... AJ telling me to read the contract and that obviously I was an idiot.

I am very sorry to those affected. I really was only trying to help and give you a heads up.

I think that is why this board is so screwed up you tell the truth and all the children cuss you out.

Effective September 1 before the final integration. Fold the Airbus pilots into the Airbus bases. Minimize cross training. Very easy to predict what this company is going to do regardless of their statements about “studying” this or that. Now do you believe us when we say that the no Airbus leases are going to be renewed.

I don't know why everyone is so blase about the parking of the Airbusses. It's a huge reduction in mainline airframes that will have to be replaced. Not sure why everyone sucks at math, but Alaska doesn't have enough MAX orders on the books to make up the difference.

Even the old timers should be concerned. This is a ton of reorganizing, displacing, and probable reduction to deal with.

Uhm, you sir also need to read a little more thoroughly or not just repeat what you hear from others. Alaska has plenty of firm orders and options to replace all of the air buses and grow some on top. Maybe start with counting to 20, you can use your fingers and toes that way.

I don’t consider delaying orders as “firm” orders. Maybe you should come out of that koolaid fountain and see what reality looks like. It’s gotta be fatiguing drinking all that punch!

You've been consistently ignorant throughout your short life here on APC - keeping the streak alive I see.

Here. Educate yourself. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska...#Current_fleet

43 incoming orders. We have 63 A319/A320s. Hopefully you recognize that's about 20 short. I even used my fingers and toes.
