Interesting facts about Ms Geffre's lawsuit.
the Complaint she filed makes very little mention of sexual assault other than to obliquely allude to the possibility. to wit:
According to *her* complaint, she consumed 6 mixed drinks and shots in a little over 2 hours (including at least one shot from someone she didn't know at the bar) before vomiting on the bar and getting 86'd.
I don't fly for Alaska, but don't they have a "Cinderella" Rule, that you can't be drinking after midnight on a day you're scheduled to fly? Exactly when she drank those drinks is not explicitly stated in her complaint, but she arrived at the bar at 11:19 and got thrown out at 01:30 (Hotel video has them getting back to the hotel at 01:57. ) That would seem to suggest that a violation of the Cinderella rule (if one exists) is a possibility.

The circumstances at issue suggested a possible work related sexual assault as would be protected under RCW 49.60 and other laws prohibiting workplace gender motivated discrimination.

Is there anything good that comes from drinking in a bar on a layover?
If you are an airline pilot with something hanging between your legs, you are easily target acquired when you sit down at that bar.
Classmate of mine, had a few drinks with a lovely gal on a layover. Woke up next morning in his room, wallet and Rolex missing. Of course he had to explain to wife why he missed his trip, lost the Rolex etc... Marriage ended.
One of our F/O's was arrested for raping a F/A in her room on a layover. He claimed they were drunk and it was consensual. Lost his career and did hard time.
Another pilot and lady friend were found in hotel hot tub, drunk and doing it, by a 13 year old daughter of another guest. Guess how that ended.
Squadron mate of mine got reduced in rank for a bar fight with an enlisted man, both drunk. He retired as an O-3.
They all started in a layover bar, with alcohol.
Save your drinking for home.

Thanks for the clarification. At any rate, it appears she got messed up enough to get tossed out of the bar. She was known to have had 6 drinks over the course of about 2 hours at one bar. Purely conjecture on my part, but I'd speculate that if they arrived at the bar at 11:19, there's a pretty good chance those weren't the only drinks she had.
For what it's worth, second time reading the complaint, I see there's another mention of sexual assault:
Ms. Geffre believed that she might have been drugged and sexually assaulted, and was unsure of the potential perpetrator at the time.
The attorney in this example is Lincoln Beauregard, the same as in the Pina lawsuit and the Sky West FA lawsuit.

I don’t know, I’ve had some pretty good times going out with the crew on overnights. I don’t think you need to be a “slam clicker” to stay out of jail. Personally, I practice safety in numbers and only go out if a few or more of the crew are going. I’m not the sex police and certainly not telling people how to spend their overnights but if you’re married (or not) and you’re drinking heavily with someone without anyone else around, you’re definitely putting yourself in a situation for trouble to come find you.
The classmate that woke up robbed...had two drinks..... (drugged)
