Free: Alaska Artifacts
I have 3 artifacts related to Alaska that I would like to give away. Even though I'm a moderator here, I haven't learned to post pictures, so you will have to send me a PM with your email address so I can send you a picture from my personal email address.
Some basic, quite reasonable ground rules:
1. Only one artifact per person. Meaning, you can't ask for all three.
2. First come, first served, although I reserve the right to refuse anyone for any or no reason.
3. You must be a current or retired Alaska pilot.
4. I will check your APC infraction history.
5. You must be able to describe why you would like one of these things.
6. You must be able to describe how you will take possession of your artifact. (I live about 3 to 3.5 hours from SEA).
7. You must swear that you will not resell or give away your artifact to anyone.
The artifacts:
1. Alaska Airlines coffee table book. Hardcover.
2. Die cast metal bank of a 1941 Grumman Goose with Coastal Elite Airways paint (still in original box)
3. Die cast metal replica of a Douglas DC-3 (still in original box)
All these were from the personal collection of a retired project manager of Alaska. He was responsible for the infrastructure at many cities served by Alaska.
Thanks.

I shouldn't have used the word "free" and "pilot" in the same post.
Thanks for all the PMs from so many people. What some of you wrote was beautiful and compelling. Now I'm going to have to put on my judge hat and do some analysis. I'll try to respond to everyone within 48 hours or less.
In all fairness, I should have been more clear about my location - I am 3 to 3.5 hours to the west. On the coast, where the next land mass is Oahu, if you keep going west southwest.
