L shaped recovery is the worst case scenario (ie it doesn’t recover and stays flattish). U shaped recovery is probably the best case scenario at this point. But yes those numbers are his predictions of the seniority list numbers for the two scenarios.

I don't know these guys, but I read somewhere that the company's plan (as of a few weeks ago) was to be operating roughly 180 mainline aircraft in Q4 of this year. 180ac x 12 pilots/ac = 2160 pilots.

Have a couple friends....Equivalent of M&O..Skywest guy says after September they see reductions as the big 3 shed pilots....Scope etc...Horizon guy thinks very small reduction.....A Q400 fleet reduction forcing movement followed by a head count reduction.....As with all things internet it is just words
