Training department is stretched thin. There are not enough instructors and they can't train new ones fast enough. |

There are 737 sims in PHX.

What does that mean? Did they have training scheduled in PHX, showed up but there were no instructors or are they just getting a longer break in between sims?

New hires get per diem while training in PHX, versus SEA. My guess is, if there wasn’t enough instructors for a week or two, then they sent everyone home to wait it out instead of having them sit in PHX and pay them all that per diem.
