Tbh I don't think it will. Yes, hopefully lots of people turn out, but showing up doesn't mean that all those people are calling their reps, pushing for a higher bar, etc, and the NC's current proposal suggests that the people they are hearing from aren't that interested in transformative change.

Don't think the company won't be putting a value on a big turnout vs a mediocre one.

All those things you mention are no doubt important, but as I understand it, one of the reasons for the aim of a big turnout is to demonstrate to the powers that be that the pilots are united in their support of their union and that their union speaks for them.

I also believe an especially big turnout would signal to the company that many would be oboard with making the required sacrifice, should it be determined that self help is the only remaining course of action.
