There have been some new hire classes with one or two anchorage spots each month. It seems to work out most of the time or you will likely get it in the next vacancy bid.

It will be about 9 months for me, but less for others, just due to the timing of the bids and the added vacancies last time. It’s hard to say going forward, best I can guess is less than a year to hold it. No clue as to time on reserve, but from what I hear reserve isn’t too bad in ANC. The next 2-3 bids will be reduction bids as the Bus continues to wind down so that will make things interesting for sure.

In the 3/2/23 effective date bid ANC went as Jr as October hires. There were some unfilled FO vacancies, I’m not sure how fast those slots will go or how the movement will be for ANC FOs.
