May I suggest not letting someone negotiate your next contract who is made an Alaska "Legend" very shortly after it passes.

Couldn't agree more. Good guy but shouldn't have been anywhere near contract negotiations.

Virgin Atlantic's Richard Branson bashes Alaska Airlines at Seattle launch

Ohhh, snap! Branson is so irrelevant. All he cares about is the $$ and royalties. He fails to mention the immense success Alaska has had for decades for on the West Coast.

So Branson's main concern is his brand/royalties/ and $$....... shocking revelation!!!!!

He's just trying to differentiate his and Delta's JV product with the Alaska/Emirates/AeroMexico/American Airlines/Cathay Pacific/Emirates
Fiji Airways
Icelandair
KLM
Korean Air
LAN
PenAir
Qantas
Ravn Alaska

Product with a little bit of fanfare and press. That takes something juicy or it gets no attention.

Alaska is weighing its future fleet size and capital expenditure commitments as part of the Airbus fleet evaluation, says Pedersen. The combined airline will have a minimum of 297 aircraft but could grow to 497 aircraft by 2024 based on its current orderbook and opportunities to extend leases.

500 aircraft would be a huge airline.
