It still surprises me how many of you big shots at airlines feel the need to throw rocks at us and belittle us as "not a real pilot" even over something as asinine as number of seats. We fly high performance airplanes that require a high level of professionalism, precision, and skill. We put our pants on one leg at a time. So why do pilots like to think they are better than other pilots because off the size of the airplane they fly?

You think the legacy airline guys look down on you because it’s you that feels that way. It’s demonstrated in your posts in this thread.
Consider that there are probably legacy guys that look at Allegiant, and think: Hmmm, decent pay, home every night, newish Airbi, what’s not to like?
Conversely, there are some Fortune 200 part 91 guys that look at it say: “Ew, I heard you have to buy your own dinner.”
The guys that actually DO look down on you, are just being like you. I like to think they are in the minority. Because I agree with you that we all put our pants on one leg at a time, and try to maintain the highest level of professionalism and respect for each other.

Most people I see get a kick out of walking out near the plane. They always want to take a picture by it or just “have a look” as they wait in line. Kinda like the old days when airline flying was still a little mysterious. Of course every so often theres some rain that wont let up but all in all its good and people enjoy the blast of warm air as they walk off that they flew down for in the first place.

Holy butthurt Batman!
Maybe he was annoyed that you parked your toy jet in the middle of the ramp and took your sweet ass time just to prove your point. You definitely seem like the type that would since you actually took the time to come on here and make a thing out of it. But you didn't come here looking for an argument.
...Had I been there i'd have probably shook my head and given you a one finger salute Mr Big Shot Netjets Guy.

Agree with Disco, this is a tired argument that should have died several pages ago, moving along.
