TYS seems like an odd choice to me. We are really starting to get a lot of bases concentrated in close proximity out there in the midwest. And I'm wondering if this will be growth or robbing flights the other bases. If its zero-sum, then it's nothing but a restructuring and forcing people to move. If it's growth, then good news for everyone. More info needed.

When is Caribbean supposed to start?

As this place grows and starts getting 5-6 airplanes a year (and actually gets to 130-150 in 5 years), it makes sense your going to start having a lot more bases.
The reality is you can’t put all of em in Vegas, AZ and FL. I think strong markets that Allegiant has served for a long time and fly to 5-6 destinations (with good pax loads) will ultimately, I feel, have an airplane or two.

Caribbean flying has been on the long term plan for quite some time. However, our IT department appears to be incapable of getting the international ticketing working.
