I can’t imagine why they’re having recruiting issues! It couldn’t be because they ignore the contract, have the lowest pay in the industry amongst airbus operators, have a joke of a bidding system that ignores seniority, offer reserve rules that make regionals look like amazing places to work, only growth is in opening base after base in undesirable locations while shrinking the larger bases that are in actual places that people might enjoy, offer a pitiful 401K match, and operate a general culture of beating down their employee groups instead of trying to build beneficial relationships. Nah, couldn’t be any of those things could it??

Depends on a ton of factors. What’s your seniority? Where are you based? These factors and many others will determine your level of job satisfaction here. With that being said, there’s nothing I mentioned above that isn’t true. There is a chance a new hire could come here and love the place depending on what their situation is. I simply want people to be informed about what’s going on here so that they can make the best decision possible.

This is not an exaggeration. Come here with eyes open if you do, because I don't want to hear another person b1tching on our facebook page in a year how much their life sucks. Management won't fix these things until they quit getting pilots knocking down the door of the training center. We face a general lack of respect, and an acute hatred of pilots at every level of the company HQ. They are told from day one that we are lazy, greedy, and cause all the problems at this company. Then they treat us accordingly.
