Default Application Response

So I put my app in last week and took the personality test; here's the response I got today:

"Thank you for your interest in the First Officer position with Allegiant. In reviewing your background and qualifications we believe you are well on your way to entering the interview process. We’d like you to continue to build your overall qualifications and to update your resume on a regular basis. All applications will continuously be reviewed, and you will be contacted if selected for the next phase of the interview process."

Being I only have around 1700TT (prior mil guy), I would imagine they just want a little more time (probably 2000 which seems to be the real minimum time that everyone really wants).

Any insights on this?

Looks like that makes three different types of response: Keep updating, try again in 6 months, and TBNT.

Still might be worth getting to a meet-and-greet.

I've got the same response.

Currently flying overseas as 787 Capt with around 9000 plus hours PIC. I guessed I am just not competitive.

Keep updating and/or applying perhaps even on a weekly basis. They are weeding through a lot of applications and anyone flying a 787 is definitely competitive.

All the overseas pilots I’ve been flying with are sharp. That has to be recognized on some level in hiring. I’d suggest you keep applying and if at all possible attend a meet and greet.

Not if he’s one of those NAI scum. I really can’t imagine many US born guys going their, but if they were silly enough to, some will def have problems getting on at major carriers here back home. Maybe not LCCs (to be seen).

Hi there,

Nope, not with NAI. I was in the Middle East for almost 10 years then left to join the Airlines in the lion city.

Just keep applying and attend the M&G, I’m sure you will get called eventually, good luck!
