another nothing email point fingers at the company. If GU wanted a contract we’d get a contract but he’s out here playing politics

Tom - less than three months ago GU, JR, JK and the other minions told us over and over again that the negotiating committee had to take their time and that they were not gonna be rushed by management to hurry and get a deal done. that they were working on the most important sections and that they were going to take time.

You defended those communications tommy boy, so now what are we to believe?

GU and the NC totally misplayed their hand (again) and thought that because they were the "new team" that we were gonna be patient and willing to wait another 12-18 months to get a deal and totally ignore the reality of where the industry is going. they are doing exactly what management wants: slow negotiations. management wants cheap labor for another year or two and GU wants to maintain power for another couple years. the most pathetic thing is that the NC, especially JA and JR are letting GU act like a mob boss and going along with it. they are no different than seiden or valenzuela - sycophants to a supreme leader.

 

I think we should take a 4th survey of the pilots to see if anyone agrees with you.

 

Well now what? Have GU fanatics learned your lesson yet? He is single handedly stealing from the pockets of every pilot at Allegiant. There is absolutely no reason we are still in negotiations. Now we have 3 pilots on full time flight pay loss who can't even be bothered to write a weekly email. I am embarassed to be represented by such stupid people.

Just hold the line right? We are all pawns for GU. If you're young, get your apps in anywhere that isn't represented by truck drivers.

spot on. GU sycophants are wild, I cannot believe that we are falling for this charlatan again. there is true disconnect going on with the NC, GU and the attorneys. GU and his lapdog attorney are slamming the brakes on getting a deal done by refusing to share scope. GU has already told management that scope is gonna change a lot and that teamsters are coming after it. that's good news for us.

but refusing to share scope, rates, retirement, etc. with management is absolutely slowing down negotiations. the boeing strike is only going to prolong the hiring freezes (see AA, WN).

GU keeps telling that the union has all this leverage but he is only it in for himself and there is growing discontent within the NC. oh well, who cares what allegiant pilots want right? GU, the supreme leader and trustee, will tell us what to do.

 

So an unelected Toonster from DC wants to pad his resume by making ridiculous demands in order to impress his boss at national? All this at the expense of the pilots he rules over, i mean represents. Ya that checks out. Typical Toonster behavior, nothing to see here, enjoy your sub regional pay for 2-3 more years, if only there was an actuall pilot union to help and not a truckers union.
