100% true. That’s what I don’t understand with teamsters is why we still use the same lawyers that were involved with that. Change that and we might’ve already had a contract

guess we’ll see if this is just
new mediator syndrome or if the company and union both got their heads out of their ***

Jokes on you it depends on a contract lol. Need a contract to grow, and growth to hire. Absolutely expect the 737 and a seat lock for 2 years

Don't you mean they need aircraft to grow and I don't think any airline is having a hard time hiring right now.

Been posted class dates maybe April or May. Will not be prior to March. This can and may get pushed back if we do not get the 737 expected. They seem to be upping the hours of flying on the AB but in many bases it is well ovestaffed until they run 737 bids. With current level of staff on 737 still waiting for training and aircraft this will not make much of a change tell likely the fall. also most of the future adds for 737 will be replacing AB flying or complete bases like FLL. Current plan and subject to change between expected 737 and expected retirements of older AB the 2025 fleet growth is likely only 1 or 2 ac total. Unless we see a lot more pilots giving up and moving on hiring will not be extensive in 2025. Not sure how many are waiting for class dates with an job offer that may cover all needed tell after summer. It would depend on how many of those take a sooner option for a job and become not interested. If you are waiting for a spot here you really should be appling to any and all other options including Rejionals. Take the first available and if something comes up better make a choice.

no we can fly about 30% more on our current fleet. Utilization is way down, but they are finally bringing it back up a little. Obviously we do need a few aircraft for replacement but we can grow (back to 2019 levels) just on our current fleet size.

im going with another regional next month until Allegiant calls. Thanks for the info, so you’re saying there won’t be any classes in Feb or March? I imagine there are at least 75 people ahead of me with CJOs.

The info included with the current base bid says new hire possible as early as late spring. The current vacancy bid has 16 open 737 transitions and 3 AB upgrades with effective dates in base of June 1st.
