Based on some of the rhetoric in the TH email I'm seriously questioning whether events have overtaken negotiations & is what's been offered no longer still on the table. Waiting breathlessly for GU to brag about how much leverage we have.....

Don't know why everyone here is so up in arms about some fictional unicorn contract. If I was managment I'd send a LBFO with about a 20% pay cut and renege on the retention bonus, just claiming they're about to go out of buisness. With the way pilots are shooting approaches into PIE, everyone is about to find out how Allegiant is just ValuJet 2.0. But hey, maybe some one will buy you out after that SwampSeeker sale. Goodluck

Not hiring near zero attrition near zero retirements & we're downsizing & who know how bad the world economic situation gets - if I'm management I'm backing way up - let's see where this all goes in the next 6-12 months before we lock in higher pilot costs. Gonna take that long anyway for GU to hold elections wash his hands of this & get the new group up to speed. Nothing's happening 'till 2026 at earliest.

It’s ALL management’s fault that we’ve had FIVE negotiating committees that have delayed and delayed negotiations. Our union has been a disorganized, drama disaster for years and they expect us to believe that all the blame for us not getting a deal falls on the company. We are not stupid. Now they tell us that our comments in the survey are worthless and that we should just unite behind Greg’s cronies. It’s all pathetic. Our union is pathetic. Just give us a TA and let us decide our own futures. |

The Big Short is tied somehow to unstacking!? This whole thing is just getting weird. Honestly I’m thinking a merger will occur before we ever see a new IBT contract or the retention bonus scam payout…so sad. |

Unity does not mean believe everything that comes out of whatever some union boss says. We will not have unity until we have leadership that we can trust and that we have elected. So Greg JR, Jay, Josh, etc don’t ask for unity again until you earn our trust and unity. You get that when we have elections and a leadership that we can actually unite with. At this point we might as well take the mailer for a 3 year deal, vote in ALPA and move on; or wait another year because pretty good chance the economy will be rebounding and Allegiant will be in a tough spot with Wall Street if they ******* up expanding again. There are also hardly any qualified FOs to upgrade anymore |
