The union is laser focused on work rules, which is a very uphill task, high risk game. Hopefully we get both.
That contract would get approved by the pilot group. Look at the increases UA's pilots are going to approve, the looming recession is real and all of us on here have been moaning about inflation and the raises we are owed.

Good thing you won’t be given that opportunity. You weren’t able to vote on that Sweet pay raise pay raise for July & August.

Some of us will get pay raises quicker when they leave for a legacy.

Depends on one’s values. Living life on your knees or your feet.

That’s a good estimate.

You realize the UA T/A “raises” are illusory & the whole thing is getting voted down, right? 5% of the 14% “raise” was already guaranteed anyway for a deal that spanned 5 years’ total so 9% raise in 5 years? Doesn’t even begin to keep up with inflation. It’s shameful. Narrowbody top-of-scale CA rates need to flirt with the upper 300’s or we’re all going backwards; that includes Allegiant.

That’s my point. The UA TA is not the pot of gold the pilots thought it would be and yet it will still get approved. American’s leaked raises will probably go to vote now as well.

Sound like the UA TA is toast. They may be trying to play it off as dead and then sneak it through.

If I was a LEC there, I'd be worried about my job. I think there are going to be a bunch of recall votes.

Bingo. Anyone who's still here is in the top 30% or lazy as crap. I predict those who aren't in the top 30% and stay will regret their decision next year.

Nate's drunk on kool aid. There's no way that thing is getting approved. Even the MEC chairman walked it back yesterday because the AA/APA proposal that isn't even a TA blew it out of the water. It's hard to pull a TA before the vote and tell the NMB you're bargaining in good faith but UALPA has no choice now but to tell the pilots to vote it down and go back for more. At this point the MEC professional politicians are just trying to save their cushy jobs and their seat at the drinking games at the ALPA BOD this fall.

This is the reason why the ECO will not release the deal to a vote until they have met all our requirements. Sell-outs shmucks would vote yes, and a good thing they wont be given the opportunity to do so!

And UA pilots are/were never going to approve their crappy deal. Point in case is why the MEC has stopped all road shows - he knows he cant sell it any more. Only senior Allegiant pilots are that dumb to vote in the turd we have. All these 'take the cash now' fools need to sit down and be quiet and let the adults in the room get this done.
