Allegiant Air

I heard that there will only be small classes until August and then no more this year. Also heard just md-80 for new hires as the 320 training is backed up and will be used strictly for upgrade and transition until 2017.

Airbus training is certainly backed up. A friend going thru upgrade is expecting about 6 weeks between ground stuff and sims.

Right now LAX is going very junior on the FO side but you may never upgrade there - very senior & overstaffed on the CA side. Also keep in mind 90-minute callout time/Allegiant FO pay/housing costs equation....

If you're new hire-Bus, expect LAS for sim. MIA will be for transitions and upgrades with Airbus instructors, unless we have enough instructors to cover MIA? Are they telling new hires MIA for sim too?

I don't know what's going on in your base, but SFB cancelled a fair number of flights recently due to lack of crews. They're regularly burning reserves there & running out of them often! This base would be in a world more shiite if the special few would stop picking up the dang Mission Modes!!
