At risk of sounding dumb, what actually makes your app “published?” It’s not like there is a big green “submit” button. I have all green check marks and my profile status is “complete.” I just want to make sure I’m not missing something here.

So what he said? Helps you get a interview and then at end of process? I really don’t know. Just relaying what I was told which is usually as valid as “I heard from CKA/jumpseat/van driver/flight attendant”

Guy spoke with recruiting guy who runs the program. He said that guys getting called have LOR's. Other officials have said the LOR's aren't reviewed until the final board meeting.
So LOR's appear to be a necessity to get called but aren't looked at until the end of the process.

Where exactly are the recs supposed to show up? I should have a couple on there (it's been a month since they were submitted) but am not seeing them anywhere. Under the references section I only see folks that I have manually entered, and in the attachments section there is nothing but my resume. Thanks!

An internship in a base CPO can be great, but what might be even better is working at GSW. Much higher chances of interacting with Kimball, Chip, DT of Pilot Recruitment etc. Plus, all the Chiefs come to Dallas every so often, and solid networking skills could theoretically give you facetime with most or even all of them by the time the internship is over.
