They should be picking sometime between now and 5pm.

Edit: they’re picking now.

Not sure what you're so worried about... The selection order is widely known to be based on new hires' ages, which will vary almost as much as their preferences. Each class is person the most perfect example possible of "past results are no indication of future performance". Each class will have almost zero impact on the next.

... Not trying to be a jerk. Just letting you know there's no real reason to be wound up over this for each class

When you're going to earn an average of $250-300K with mil retirement? I'd probably jump. Especially sitting reserve and hoping the phone doesn't ring during your back swing or while you're casting.

Your assumption is that AA pilots earn the same amount of money as Delta pilots. I would bet our total compensation is at least 20-30% less on average. Driving to work is definitely a game changer. But going from a Delta or Fedex to AAL is a significant financial hit over a 20-30 year career. Unless APA can find a way to get their sh*t together

As a few others have alluded to, each class is different. For three classes in a row before mine, S80/DFW went sr and then LGA/767 followed by MIA/737/320 then MIA/767.

Being younger than the Eagle flows, I fully expected MIA/767. In my class, all the flows but 2 lived on the East Coast and two had been displaced from the old SJU base. DFW/S80 went junior and I couldn’t have been happier. This trend followed for 2-3 more classes then became a mixed bag and I lost track.

Anyway, the drop varies slightly but will be consistently LGA/LAX/MIA and a sprinkle of other stuff. Maybe PHL/190 but I’m not sure they’re training NH’s on that anymore.

190's had the same swing - four slots went to the top 10(?) guys in one class and a class or two later the 190 went very junior.

I'd be prepared for all slots and have them taller tapped as well as some of the unexpected slots that might pop up as one time unicorns - DFW S80, PHL 190, MIA 767, DCA 737, etc. They've all popped up in the past and the first time, and cut offs, were somewhat unknown.
