Hmmmm... I don't know about that one. PHL is leading the company in retirements for the next 5 years. I was hired 7 months ago and would be about 6% less senior at LAX in the 320 than at PHL. As of 1 Aug, that grows 4% for a difference in 10%. Pretty significant. There are less people at PHL, but more retiring. Movement at PHL is pretty aggressive right now and should stay that way for the next decade, especially in the first 5 years of that decade.
Probably because PHL was/is the bastion of Airways widebody flying.

I literally had a psa guy say this to me on my jumpseat last year, he's an fo on the 73 and said how thankful he was to not have to fly that "regional jet" now that he's at mainline it's widely known psa guys come with quite an attitude, you certainly fit the profile and don't worry my 3xp has me retiring well inside 100 so nice try with the humble brag douche.

190 could have some big upside as the fleet draws down in the future. So who knows. Moral of the story, everyone has different circumstances and wants and needs.

PSA guy here, I don't want the 190. Live in CLT. Don't feel like changing equipment just to be based at home in the future. That being said I'll take whatever I get and be thrilled to be on it.

Best example I can give is PHX vs CLT. I hear people call PHX jr because new hires get it while CLT is sr because its about 2 years to get. For me though I’d be 10 to 15 points better in CLT than in PHX so I consider a PHX sr. This is partly from the merger, and it will always ebb and flow.
My advice is pick the best commute. At the bottom of the list, that trumps everything.

Counting the eggs before they hatch. I hope your health and everything pans out for you. However maybe in the mean while a little humble pie could also help you out. Call me crazy. May just a little older and experienced. Who knows? However we have no issues with any of the wholly own guys so unless you are from one in which you have beef about another maybe you can learn you’re at AA. That BS we don’t care about. You’re on our seniority list and start to act like it. All the same if you like it or not. Hopefully you’ll see top 100. Stupidest question people ask here is where one is scheduled to finish. Too many variables all out of our control to plan that bs out.

They really dropped the ball on that guy. Google shows he was tried and found not guilty of some pretty heinous things just a few years before he was hired at PSA. Not sure how that was missed...
