I was just looking at this yesterday. I'm LC with weekends off and have flown my ass off in a more senior base than LGA with way more people % wise living in base.
So I started looking around, it actually seems like Philly nowadays is the best place to go for reserves if you don't want to work.
But that can change in an instant, last year I finally gave up on Philly after getting trip after trip.
I even looked at the bigger airframes, and those guys are also working a lot. I'm not sure if it's summer-esque schedules yet or if they've just gotten better with scheduling guys. Airways was really good, always had a TON of reserves and rarely ran out, under AA it's the exact opposite. I really don't think you escape working on reserve these days unfortunately.

In May 320 FO's probably flew 40-50 hrs. 737 avg was maybe 65 hrs. Snapshot of one month only.
320 is a better job but maybe 20%(?) are all nighters. The funny part is looking at the last week and the number of reserves assigned to fly all nighters was very, very, low.
I'd bid the 320.

Pretty darn quickly on the 320. Slightly longer on the 737.

Junior guys in June look like they're late January new hires. LC is eight from the bottom. In May it was 3 from the bottom but more senior.
So when you get CLT you should be able to hold LC fairly quickly *IF* bidding patterns don't change. It appears to be fairly similar across different bases and bid statuses that the preference for SC vs LC is fairly diverse but the bottom guys appear to be SC.
Junior CLT FO in August is an early March new hire. Five months on property. About 2.5 months post line qual'd. For the last 9 months the average junior guy in CLT has dropped by 95 per month, or 856 in 9 months. *IF* that continues CLT will be available fairly soon after getting hired.
Caveats - CLT has no announced openings for the September job run. But it has the most retirements so having unannounced vacancies should be a common occurrence.
