New to forum...first post...
Any idea in current climate how long it would take a new hire FO to get BOS? I understand it is senior, but have also seen on here that some junior FOs were able to get it...

It took my buddy less than 4 months to get awarded BOS.

Same question but for DFW. I would assume considerably longer.

Most junior BOS FO looks to be a late 2017-early 2018 hire. That's a 737 guy.

Not counting the S80 since it's no longer an option, the most junior DFW FO is an April 2018 hire. That's an A320 guy.

So forgive my naivete (older mil guy getting back into 121 flying) but does that mean getting 737 out of training is realistic and then bos in less than a year? Tx again.

Yes. DCA (737) should also be within a year, plus or minus, for those so inclined.

New hire drops tend to have 737 and 320 to LAX and LGA, and 190 to PHL. Every now and then 737 to MIA. No more S80 to DFW.

There’s an entire thread devoted to class drops.

Sliceback posts some interesting seniority snapshots every now and then.
