Group I Group II Group III Group IV Group V if APA screws up this bargaining round you are probably looking at another 10 year stretch where the avg DAL CA makes $50k+ per year above his/her counterpart at AA. |

The difference between a 30 year career at Delta, United, FedEx, UPS and AAL is probably >$1,000,000. Choose wisely. People will tell you contracts come and go and you will move up the list faster at AA. That’s partially true but the facts are you will earn 20-30+% less at AAL in total compensation.

Those would probably be group 1. Group 5 is B-747 and A-380.

That may be true but delta and united hired a lot of young pilots over the last 5 years. Unless you’re under 30 would you ever get to those highest paying positions over there? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I left ual for aa and it was a mistake.
That second carrier was US Air, mid to late 80's. Turns out, that was a really good time to go to Delta. |
