Not necessarily. Retirements plus guys going to widebodies and elsewhere, it’s not necessarily as hopeless as it seems.

I was curious about taxes in NC, speciffically around Lake Norman? I think I'd like to own a ridiculously over powered pontoon boat on a lake, and this seems like the right spot. Can't do this in the DC 'burbs.

Has anyone made this move and regretted it? I think we might be looking for a change in scenery from DC in the next 5 years...

now dont get me wrong I am very thankful for my position, but I have been in CLT for about 3 years now, and after about 6 months here i was at 78%, I am now at 80.5% and have been for the last year......June vacancy had 34 FOs bid to other positions without one being back filled, would just like to know why in a year they have reduced the FO numbers by close to 100 now in the last year with no explanation as to why

I moved up there 4 years ago. I love it. But... do your homework. Depending on exactly what neighborhood/street/county your in, taxes can be significantly different. I live in the county, but 2 streets away is the city. Difference is 1000’s. Furthermore, be aware what Lake Norman really costs. West side of lake is cheaper but it’s definitely been discovered and isn’t cheap. Cornelius and Mooresville, be realistic... 500k gets you know “””more than a updated fancy mobile home on the water.

What oh what are you pampered Bus pilots to do?? I predict massive resignations. It’s the end of the world as you know it!

If they open a 737 base in CLT, hopefully all the A320 faithful avoid it so I can upgrade to the left seat. I don't particularly care what I fly. I like the Bus, but I'll fly the 737 if it means better seniority.

What number is the plug CLT CA. I would guess 73’s and some 787s eventually.

You cracked the code!

FWIW I’d probably be on the Bus here in DCA if it meant better seniority
