And to answer your question, yes, in essence Envoy pilots are AA because THEY ARE HIRED to go to AA. That's why you see the requirements tightened up considerably when you do a side by side comparison between Envoy and other similarly sized carriers. It's not a joke and AAG was on the cutting edge when they deployed the pipeline CFI program. These candidates are the cream off the top and fortunately Envoy has large quantities beating down the door just trying to get in.

50% of all AA pilots are going to be from wholly owned carriers. The large majority of these pilots will come from Envoy. I stay involved in the Envoy forums because these guys are AA's future and having someone who has been through Envoy and the flow, I can offer good information and assistance.

I still can't tell if you're a troll or serious, because you talk like you're a recruiting pamphlet full of recruiter bull**** that was struck by lightning on a full moon and came to life to annoy people.

If you're for real I feel sorry for your crews, because even Swayne would tell you to calm down.

Sincerely I appreciate your enthusiasm. But when you say you believe in American's Product I certainly would like to know what you are referring to. Personally I don't see it so maybe you can explain it... American's product etc.

The 4th quarter bump was because they stopped prepaying the pension as they had been to goose the EOY numbers. They still missed their yearly management profit sharing target by $100mil.

We are most definitely not on the right track and to say otherwise makes you look like a fool and a poor union member.

THKooj I Sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm but when you say you believe in American's "Product" I certainly would like to know what aspect of it you are referring to. Personally I don't see it so maybe you can explain.

Drinking a *little bit* of koolaid every once in a while isn’t a bad thing..heck, this is by far the best job I’ve ever had. BUT, that doesn’t mean we should overlook the shortcomings in leadership and the significant gap in our pay and rules vs our peers. For heaven’s sakes man, stop guzzling the pitcher!

Rumors going around about 1 or more heads rolling in the next couple months. The classic “step back to spend more time with family” thing.

I’d bet Isom is a scapegoat before Doug, but even Doug’s days are numbered.

Lets just get one thing straight, you are NOT an AA pilot until you are on the APA seniority list and flying AA mainline aircraft around, in essence or whatever. You bring that kind of talk into the wrong crowd and that's a quick way to get b!+ched out. You're either an AA pilot or not, none of this in essence B.S.

Hey we’ve got our first corporate champion.

Who is clearly a pencil pusher somewhere in the bowels of the masterbase because no mainline pilot would actually say this.

These candidates are the cream off the top
The Skywest, PSA, and ULCC guys we get are consistently better than our Envoy flows.

Which is why we need to eliminate this flow throw garbage before it poisons our seniority list as badly as management has poisoned the product.

The flow is going to be well BELOW 50% this year, and for the next 7 years unless they change it or hiring slows
