Does AA care about any of the single engine Turbine time?? I do assume that the single engine recip is essentially worthless!!
I have a degree and I was a 135 Check Airman with other duties.

A 2 year degree is nearly worthless to the legacies. They want a 4 year degree. I’d get one if I were you and you really want to get on with a legacy. It wouldn’t be super difficult to finish up a 4 year degree online while on your downtime at your new regional gig. Many guys have done just that.

Less than 1000 121 PIC and only an associates degree? Not really competitive. There are THOUSANDS of regional pilots with college degrees and 1000 PIC time at a 121 that are more qualified. A flow through might be his best shot, unless he finishes a 4 year degree and gets some more 121 PIC time.

I agree... I am planning on going back home to CLT and work for a WO regional. Try to build my 121 time and hopefully some 121 PIC, I’m already working towards the 4yr degree online with liberty. I still want to send my app to a consulting company, in this hiring environment you will never know... All I know is if I don’t apply and polish my resume as best as I can, I have an automatic No, I’m just trying to aim for the “Yes”. Thanks for the positive tips and responses. I’ll try Cage Marshall, lets see how it goes.

happy flying everyone!

I had my app checked with Charlie and Checked and Set and highly recommend it. Emerald Coast is good for interview prep, but there are several good companies for interview prep.

You have some great experience to discuss in an interview. Flying in China is something I would love to hear about if I was interviewing you.
The others are correct regarding your degree. Get it as fast as you can as well as more TPIC. PSA is where I d go if you live in CLT.
Good luck!

You are in the running. Network and work connections. Try and get 121 check airman as fast as you can.

The airlines aren’t going to loose money flying empty planes.

I do, however, love it when I'm the only passenger on a flight with a bunch of money flying around inside of it.

Yeah, since there isn't a difference between "threw" and "through", or "loose" and "lose".
My bad......
