your current seniority # was calculated in July 2019. The calculator does look at year end estimated seniority. So 1.5 year span. 1100 sounds right.

There are 2 calculators too...the AA one looks at December, the APA one looks at July. Kind of like there are 2 different 3XP’s that function differently, we need to keep it confusing.

Sorry, misread that question. I don't know how they calculate the numbers nor where an actual calculator is at but their list is updated every month.

Go to Apa's website and log in.
In the top right go to "Commitee,"
Next click on "Membership"
You'll see a picture of the current newhire class and right above that you will see "Seniority class and Projections" click on the + and you are good to go.

APA website
committees
membership
seniority list and projections (above the new hire photo)
projections

You can put anyone’s employee number in it and run their projection, this is useful if you have a buddy trying to get hired here wondering how he’ll fare in seniority. Pick a new hire that is the same age and run it. The monthly updated seniority list is located right below the calculator.

Edit: by the way, I’ve usually been a hundred or so numbers better than the projection ( probably due to early outs). Additionally, the monthly updated list shows what your seniority number would be if reshuffled today.

This is a valid point.

Hey everyone! I am coming back to the States after 5 years of flying in China on the a320. I will be Joining a Regional airline and would love to join AA. Does any one know which app review company emphasizes American Airlines? (Emerald, checked and set?)

thanks for your replies in advance!
