9% of GOL 10% of Korean Air
20% of LATAM
and 49% of Virgin Atlantic

when was summer NOT like this? This has been the case for every summer since I’ve been here at AAL since 2014...it’s a great time to make a ton of money which I looked at as a great positive...I could easily double my salary for the months June-August, and I would take that in a heartbeat now!

yeah I know he is, my point was that’s what summer is like that for every airline. Even back in my regional days (Delta Connection) it was like that. Most airlines in my experience staff to JUST get buy in summer and then be a little over staffed(in the airlines bean counting opinions of course) the rest of the year. Everyone screams we are understaffed in the summer months and then nothing for the other 9 months...now if that crap happens in February we’ll then you probably are truly understaffed...cancelled flights for lack of crews does get management’s attention but I watched here last summer middle managers cover up staffing shortages by coding some cancellations as wx related instead of for lack of crews, but that’s a whole other story. We have a website at AA that will show you every cancelled flight and the reason for it, or at least the reason they came up with for it.

Agreed, but it was much worse than it’s ever been. Record number of green slips, fatigue reports etc. The poor staffing situation extended even into the fall and did let up until this virus BS.

you don’t think a displacements are coming to you? Someone had to be first.

to say United is more Fd is funny. We’re all on a bus headed off a cliff but the guy in the front row will hit the ground first.
