If this drawdown is still going on in July/August...then there may be a problem. Again, this virus will be contained in the U.S. in a matter of months..at the latest. Until then it’s all drastic measures and shocks to the system. None of it means anything in the long term. Remember that Delta is parking..what? 300 planes? It’s not just us.

Perhaps, but this seems to be driven by Trump putting the country on lock down. Once this virus is under control, which for all intents and purposes seems like it’s a matter of weeks to months, the international borders will open back up. And with that, international flights.
Have Delta and United suspended all their international flying? It would help put this into context if we knew.

I'm literally looking at the Hong Kong International airport right now, which has been a widebody parking lot for over a month. I was in Shanghai-Pudong last month, and it was absolutely deserted. One of the busiest airports in the world and it felt like it was abandoned inside the terminal.

A. People chill the F out and realize this isn't the Black Plague
B. The spread of the virus is controlled
C. A vaccine is developed

D. American's well known A.D.D. kicks in and they get bored with hunkering down in their homes with toilet paper.
This wasn't taken seriously enough in the beginning..with too many on one side of this country calling it a fake conspiracy for too long. Then, all of a sudden it's been one overblown knee jerk reaction after another. The dust will settle in a matter of months.
