Anyone else hear the end of July for the first class now? I've heard it too many times from good sources to not throw it out there for conversation.

Was one of the first in the cancelled March 31st class, haven’t heard back from our paperwork yet to start fingerprints/background checks. Would imagine we would hear within a couple weeks if they’re planning July. I hope you’re right though!

It’s possible they didn’t get as many voluntary leave returns so it freed up training space to start classes sooner than expected. I think only 33 out of 200ish elected to return from leave early.

Any updates as to when American will actually start new hire classes or when they might make an announcement indicating such? I’ve heard anything from July to September.

The word I have is the schoolhouse is still full with folks being requal. after furloughs and folks getting on new A/C after theirs had been retired. Give the instructors some vacation time, and they are at Sept. for new hires. They need new hires now, but the schoolhouse is full.
