should be, in order to meet the 3 per year requirement...this one was Oct 2021, so naturally it would be either a NOV or DEC 2021 vacancy....if the EU opening up to non essential US travelers triggers a good uptick in widebody demand I would expect the next one to be a good one in order to start aligning the pilot workforce to meet that demand for summer 2022, along with another one or two in early 2022. Fall/winter 2021 business travel will be interesting to watch as well.

No crystal ball here, but it past precedence is any indicator, I’d expect bids effective in December, then probably Feb/Mar and then another effective May/June to prep for summer flying.

Partly why it takes so long to publish results. The list of vacancies is outdated the second it is published. The awards are manipulated hundreds of times to find the least impact to training and coverage during the 2-3 weeks after bidding closes
