So just to follow up. I had my interview last week and I am on the same boat you were on a few months ago. Did you ever hear back?

In the same boat. interviewed 3/1/22 said they couldn't offer me a CJO that my stuff would go to a review board. I have no clue as to why they don't say. still trying to not stress but its impossible. I was told Id hear something 2-3 weeks. at least I didn't get a hard no that day I guess. I don't know what it could be that they want to review?

Majority of times it’s a paperwork issue, and they have to go to the board for review. Most everyone gets the CJO later. It could also be an HR thing on how you did during the virtual interview. But again, most everyone gets it’s. Try to not to stress but I know that’s easier said than done. If they really didn’t want you they would have told you day of. Again most likely a paperwork issue.

I know it's easier said than done, because I was in your shoes very recently, but try to relax.

No clue what they're looking at, I interviewed in early January and am in class right now. No CJO the day of, and crickets for a couple of weeks. Followed by an email out of the blue to schedule a drug and alcohol test, and a bunch of background check and onboarding forms to fill out, welcoming me to American Airlines. CJO letter came in the mail a few days later, and class date two weeks after that, for 2-1/2 weeks.
I know it's easier said than done, because I was in your shoes very recently, but try to relax.

Man thanks so much for the feed back! And congrats!

Thanks!
Just remember, no news is good news! It was about 20 days from
my interview to CJO. I was in class about 5 weeks after that, so about two months from interview to on property if you’re looking for a timeline.
