AA vs UAL

A quick thought on XLR overwater.
Senior until they get it out of their system, then it will go junior.
Ask the JB folks about this flying.
Low pay/yeild, two pilots, bumping along low and slow....
I love the Airbus, but no rest bunk, no third pilot, low yield credit = No thanks. ;-)
I'll take domestic PM instead thank you very much.

jfc I can't keep up with y'all, this place is so spastic
PHL int'l has always had this issue, you end up doing one more trip a month vs being based in DFW flying Europe. I really hope they bring back their boutique PHL 75/76 destinations, that would be amazing.

Very similiar situation here. I have a CJO from December at both companies and live in LAS. Torn between the 2 offers for several reasons but mostly want to stay on the Airbus. Even if I have to commute for a couple years untill both kids finish high school. Or, take UA offer and stay in LAS but get the 737, learn an entirely new aircraft at age 49. Commuting would be easy to either PHX or LAX until I move to the PHX area once kids graduate. Obviously, furlough protection would be better with AA with more of a focus on domestic vs International at UA. AA is also focused on paying down a lot of its debt from aircraft bought prior to Covid. The dilema is commute for 4 years and stay on the bus or choose UA, stay in base but get the 73. I was offered a CJO first with AA and have the best chance at the bus. However, living in base is a game changer with QOL. Thanks for all the information you guys provide. Truly appreciated.
but seriously, if you’re moving to PHX, suck it up and do AA.
i know more than one person who live in LAS and switch back to SFO widebodies because the trips were trash.
this from a UA guy, btw.
