I did zero paid professional resume, application, or interview prep. I do have an HR degree so I am sure that helps a bit. I asked a coupe of close friends that are already pilots with a couple different companies to review my application but that was as far as I went. I received a CJO with AA on July 18 and have an interview with SWA on August 31st. It can be done without prep, but I have no idea if I am an anomaly in that matter. Just speaking from personal experience.

For what it is worth, I completed my application with AA on the old system at the end of January. My info was ported over to the new system and I got a call for an interview about 6 months after initial submission.

Where do we input our flight times, work history, education, etc.? The new pilots.aa.com doesn’t have any of that and aa.pilotcredentials.com doesn’t seem to be working anymore. Anybody had any luck?

Someone posted that it only worked on Chrome, and am inclined to agree, only when I viewed it in Chrome could I see all the problems that were created in the switchover. I fixed them up and have heard nothing since, who knows if there's yet more that isn't working well...

Yeah I was using Chrome when I tried. Maybe doesn’t like the iPad… Will try on a desktop later to see if that works.

The new app doesn’t like iPads. Worked fine when I used my MacBook. I had to use Chrome at first, but then when i was trying to update I could see everything on Safari as well. BL: Use a laptop and Chrome

I could not get the new site to work on any mobile device. It only worked with a computer (desktop or laptop). Chrome does work best but I also had luck with Safari on my iMac.

For everyone on here that received the new link for the Pilot Skills test even though you had previously taken it through PC and were told you did have to, TAKE IT AGAIN. Been wondering for a couple months why I hadn’t received a call yet (overqualified, handsome, numerous leather bound books) and my wife goes, “maybe the left hand isn’t talking to the right hand and you should take it again?” So I did last night; woke up to an interview email. Good luck all; it’s even easier the 2nd time! Hope this helps somebody who was in the same boat.

Default PST invite

Hey guys quick question, I submitted my app in and then less than 24 hours I got invited to take the assessment, im a bit surprised how fast I heard back. Any insight on how long after taking the assessment to find out if you were successful or not? I took the test today. If anyone is interested 2500 TT, 1000 turbine 0 TPIC. Thanks!
