I’m sure you’ll have no problems making the switch from another major. Good luck on your decision!

Given the opportunity to not commute is a huge game changer but I feel as if there is more growth and opportunity with my current airline. We are both young with a lot of years in this career. Would appreciate any insight , thanks
I'm in the same boat. I got hired at another legacy but have a life set up in CLT and am really considering making the jump over to AA to avoid commuting. I've had my app in for a bit with AA but still haven't heard anything. Have you had any luck with your app yet?

This would cause me to have to stop flying for roughly 3-4 months in order to go through upgrade training and get a new type rating. I know that 1000 turbine is “preferred” and just trying to get on with American as quickly as possible. Thanks!
Not sure how they feel about 135 time but I got hired with 800 turbine/121 and no TPIC. If I were you, I would apply now and see if you get any traction. If you don’t in about six months, I’d plan to upgrade. If you can get some sort of meet and greet, you can ask the recruiter yourself what you need to do to be more competitive.

Has anyone received any guidance on combining similar aircraft types in the "aircraft flown" section?

I combined 170/175 and PA-28-151/161/181. They didn't have any issue with it. I do suggest an app review though, I made many small mistakes that could have prevented my app from being pulled sooner. Sometimes it comes down to punctuation (literally).

Thank you. The app review is a good idea as well. Do you mind sharing who you used?

Default Anybody have issues uploading a resume?

I have no problem uploading LoR's, but when I try to upload my resume, I get an "Error uploading attachments" message. Tried pdf, png, different browsers etc. Not sure what the deal is. Any thoughts?
