Thanks for your reply i tried it and unfortunately It didn't work

Try deleting all of your attachments then save and submit. It might not work but it's worth a shot.

Worst case, start a new application but don't upload anything until you get the link for the cognitive test.

Apologies if this has been asked already, but I searched the forum/thread and didn't find an answer. For the flight hours, does SIC mean the same as the FAA definition, or do they just want the other hours spent in the aircraft that weren't PIC or Instructor? Without entering non-PIC/non-Instructor hours as SIC, there is no way for them to know the total hours per aircraft (to include Dual Received).

Not the FAA definition. If it is not PIC, it is SIC. Make sure your total PIC and SIC add up to your total time in each aircraft.

Anyone having trouble with the pilots.aa.com website? In the candidate portal, my general info is updated and correct with a proper resume attached. However, when I click on the Pilot application I applied to it takes me to another webpage where there is a separate resume attached and it is an empty text file I never uploaded. There is also some incorrect/incomplete info there which I was never able to fill out in the original application. There is no way for me to modify any of this info on that page. I can't even re-upload a new resume. I was considering withdrawing the application and reapplying, but I searched for pilot positions and was unable to locate a position. For fear of losing the app, I am keeping it there.

It's basically as if my pilot application is incomplete/invalid and I can't update it. There is also nowhere for me to update my hours. Am I completely missing something? aa.pilotcredentials.com is not valid anymore, correct? Anyone have similar issues? I emailed pilot recruitment, so we'll see if they can help, but in the mean time I'm wondering if anyone else has been down a similar path.

"When you click on pilot application?" The entire website is the pilot application so I'm not sure what you're referring to. You mean your application on Success Factors, not pilots.aa.com?

Yes, it's on success factors. There is a sub section called "Applications." It's under that sub section where there is a link to click called "Pilot" (referring to the app I previously filled out) that will take me to a separate page where my issue is.

Pretty sure they aren't using that anymore.

Hmm, that's strange. I don't know how I was being led to the wrong website then.

There is a website jobs.aa.com for non-pilot careers at American. You will have a profile on that website as well as pilots.aa.com. The "jobs" website will be limited to your address, phone number, etc. The "pilots" website and application is where you'll attach the documents (LORs, Medical, ATP, Drivers Licence, etc.) The "attachment" tab was problematic in October, and seems to still be the case. When I had my virtual interview/screening with HR, my documents were still not getting through to the hiring staff. The HR rep asked me to simply email the documents to him while we were on the call. He then uploaded them. When I arrived for my interview, there was STILL one document that was left no uploaded. So they scanned the hard copy while I was present.

Wow, silly me. I was on jobs instead of pilots LOL. Thanks for pointing that out. I guess I forgot about the pilot one, googled aa pilot application, and got lead to the job one.
