New Website for Application
I recently created an account on the new application website. I was told with the same email I used on aa.pilotcredentials everything would transfer over. That was not the case. Anyone else having issues with applications transferring to pilots.aa.com?

Nothing transferred for me. I got about half my hours in there and it locked me out. I couldn't get in for a couple hours. When I went back in it had changed a few check boxes- watch your entries carefully. It may not be fully operational yet.

So it's basically submit as you go? There's no final submission option once you get to the end, correct?

I submitted again… everything…
But it’s weird because you don’t receive any email after the application, but all my info is there. |

My blue menu to the left is completely empty and the only areas I can edit are pilot info, address history, demographic information, veteran status and finally employment availability. Once I submit that page there is nothing else. |
Much of my stuff transferred but references, recommendations, resume, address history did not. PITA. I sent them an e-mail asking if there is a new process for internal recommendations on Thur but no answer yet.

Skills Testing Missing
Have they removed the requirement for the skills testing?

Something is wrong with this new platform. Logged back in this morning and all of my radio buttons are turned off. Employer names are missing. Hope they sort this out soon, it's getting frustrating.

I created a new account with the same email address as pilotcredentials.. nothing there! .and the only way I found out about the new website was from this forum

Same here with the missing tabs…. Looks like they are still working on possibly getting things transferred for previous apps on pilot credentials.

The issue I'm having is on the pilot Questionnaire page... I cant submit anything. Rest of the site works just fine. Hopefully they can iron out the kinks soon

As of tonight still only seeing the initial page with address history, demographics, and availability date. Blue bar to the left is still blank. Soooo basically still can’t apply, I guess.

Update: full website appears to be working now for me, but mobile site on iPhone still has limited functionality and shows blank blue bar on left.

Yeah it looks I spoke too soon. Most of the tabs work but not the pilot questionnaire. Flight hours worked, but a few times along the way it didn’t take or it froze. Logging out and back in seems to help. Save (“submit”) early and often.
I have to assume the pilot hiring folks aware of this and it’ll be fixed fairly soon. If nothing else they’re going to get tired of getting emails about it. |
I finally managed to login and get the tabs on the right.
It worked on iPad using safari. Everything got transferee except sorties, attachments and references. |

Had a thought that maybe the functionality glitches are known and intentional. For instance, the site preventing us from saving/completing the Questionnaire is their way of keeping the application process “offline” until they’re ready to start processing everything from the new platform, but they still want everyone to be able to input all of the other more time consuming info like job history and education in the mean time. Maybe that’s giving too much credit, and it would be nice if they’d just say that’s what’s going on. Has anyone emailed them (or know what the email is?) asking about the site’s functionality?

The pilot questionnaire page appears to be working now. I logged on to finish the application and after I finished, I received a submission acknowledgement email. About an hour later, I received an email saying I've been selected to move forward in the application process and a link to the Pilot Skills assessment was provided. It says you can disregard the email if you have already completed the assessment... I'm unsure if that includes completion from the old website.

I received the same email as above, but I received mine out of the blue as I have not completed transferring my pilot credentials information over to pilots.aa.com. So I “think” that email may have been generated off the pilot credentials application? Regardless, I sent recruitment an email simply asking if I needed to continue transferring (never got any emails about the change and obviously no transfer of data occurred) all my data, AND asked if the previous pilot skill test was still valid. How did you get past the Military drop down in the employment section? I am not military and I see no ‘N/A’ option. When I leave it blank, I receive a red submission error.

I’m military and even I gave up on that; there was one time in the past years that I wasn’t flying so I had to put it down, but I technically had no primary aircraft. I gave up; am hoping the old app gets me an interview while they get the new one fixed. As for the interview, I’m approaching a year out from retiring, I’m reasonably expecting to hear something yesterday, so I hope this is the beginning. I only made my AA app live about a week ago.

They’ll fix the bugs; they’re using new applicants as a test bed, but they failed to provide a constructive way for feedback to immediately fix the glitches.

I did get a response today from the email I sent, though short and somewhat un-thorough. Only salient piece of advice is the old LOR link is no longer valid, and you’ll have to upload all subsequent LORs under the attachments portion of the new app. 🤷🏼♂️

Having a lot these issues as well. My questionnaire didn't save despite submitting it twice. I had a staff job while in the military and got the same error (needed an aircraft) so I gave up and logged out and went to bed. Woke up this morning to an email to take the skills test. I wonder if the system just checks the mins and that's it? Weird because I said no to a Class 1 with no date.
