The same thing happened at Envoy during COVID. We had an app called QuickTrade that made picking up open time, proffering for reserve, and trip trading much easier. VP of Flt Ops Ric "Furlough Them All" Wilson and his cronies pulled the plug on it when the pilots snagged a ton of open time which was being canceled during the first part of the pandemic. However, the pilots quickly learned the FOS commands to do the trading and pickups rendering Slick Ric's tantrum worthless. I hope you all do the same.
I haven't been here long enough to be enamored with LS. I don't really find its user interface better than the latest union app. But there are some features I will miss. I will miss the motivator. Made $500 from that this month alone. DH seat improver is nice. I don't think that requires FOS so maybe he can keep that going but it would have to be a lot cheaper.

No.
Poke fun all you want ;-) Go look and see what device management is, then understand that CCI on your personal phone requires it and AA being Trusted.
Do you leave your web browser logged onto your bank account and device unlocked sitting around? LoL Because if so, I'll be right over! :-)

Location, notifications, background app refresh and mobile data is all. And my phone’s VPN & Mobile Device management settings screen has no entries of any sort at all.

LS was good. Why doesn't our own airline do what LS did? I just had a Flight Attendant show me how they trade. It was lightning fast. Easy to use and it's a company APP.
I don't believe it is APA to fault. I blame AA. They think everyone is happy with the system we have. The people in charge are not pilots. They don't think like us. They contact a pilot in management and ask them what they think. That management pilot hasn't flown the line in decades and was probably senior and local. They say looks good to me and then it becomes so. They have no idea what we want. We should be able to see a posted trip and touch on it if it's legal then confirm and away you go. Navigating through apps and entering code strings is so 1990s. That's what we have to do now with no LS. Embarrassing.
If you are looking for how to trade pilot to pilot go to Compass page. It's in there. You will also have to call the pilot trying to drop the trip. They have to initiate the transaction. Good luck.
