Pubs is telling people that the only training hotel contract they have now is with the landings and are refusing requests to switch out of that panopticon.
So remember guys, you're on company property, and are expected to follow company rules 24/7 while there.
No visitors/family/beer in your rooms.
Limited hours at the cafeteria, so when you get out of a late sim, hit the vending machines.
Wear your ID to the company bar, gym and at all times you aren't in your room.
Don't look up anything that would get you in trouble with HR on their internet.
Too far to walk anywhere.
Welcome to boarding school.
...I particularly want to thank our illustrious union for allowing this to become a mandatory part of our lives.

I've heard this story a couple of times this week. I have no reason to doubt it. The question is, is this official AA policy, or has some minion in Pubs decided to institute this on their own? Or lower level minions in that office calling audibles to avoid work and are just refusing to honor requests to switch (including yours)?
You might like the Landings, but generally it sucks for people who like to clock out and do their own thing at the end of the day and aren't on a 9-5 leash.

Didn’t they adjust the alcohol in room policy? Have definitely watched people bring up drinks from the tavern past security with no issue.
At least the gym is 24/7 now..?
I kinda like the place. Not having to wait for a van is 100% worth it.

That hotel is awesome, so much drama seriously. Short or long course, I had a great initial training experience. Floors are quiet, everything is super convenient, and that cantina is pretty cool actually. Food options could and should be improved, because they have the infrastructure for it. And security could chill a bit, other than that, awesome experience IMO.
