They get the full annuity until if, or when, the PBGC steps in. At that point the annuity could decrease. The math gets complicated depending upon if they're PC-3 (53 yrs old and 13 yrs LOS) or PC-4(everyone else) and how much money is in the pension fund.

Looks like at least 10 guys retired eff. Jan. 1st.

17 now, perhaps more with LAX, BOS and DCA...

anyone know if these are mandatory age 65 retirements or just guys pulling the plug ?

Nobody hit 65 yet.

These guys are probably just worn out and missed the boat by 2 months...
