Well. Well. I guess nobody told THIS judge! Haha. Another forum genius. I guess you were wrong, eh? Republic and Skywest are bidding on that abrogated scope as i type!

If they were smart and they could do that, in 5-10 years the managements of the U.S. carriers may soon only get a middle-finger in return for their future pilot persuit efforts. There's going to be thousands of pilots who've been swindled and robbed by the current U.S. carriers and need to make up a lot of income in a short period of time and those in their 40's and 50's would be prime candidates for 5-10 years of ex-pat work giving those emeging economies time to build up their own internal pilot base.

It could e a real win-win scenario for U.S. pilots and considering the pipeline here is drying up fast, it would be most unfortunate for the domestic carriers, many of which would flop altogether due to being unable to provide a product.

I might even start to cry if that occured.
A commute overseas will make you old fast. Look at the pilots who have done International for a long period of time and it shows. Anyone who does that pays a price. It depends on how hungry you really are.

Yup. 2 weeks on 2 weeks off would be hell.

30 on / 30 off would be a nice medium.

??? As it has been mentioned many places before; the pilots "you're" talking about, were the old, drinking, smoking ones (i.e. the ones that died early). My guess is, you haven't done International much!

Most ex-pat jobs are 45 on 15 off. 2 weeks on/off? Not a chance. Althought, ET and Copa are attempting to construct commuter-friendly lines.
