All 2500 will probably be hired in 2016-17.

Plenty of these can be off the street hires. Not all of the AE pilots have priority.

There will be plenty opportunity for competitive pilots to get hired.

Yo Slice,

So far, none of the routes announced involve any of the new aircraft. So - for the time being - it is shuffling. I do agree with you that there will be a net gain in airframes once the -300s start arriving.

5 years may as well be 500... it's so far in the future given our current contractural/BK situation, it means nothing.

Like "Pull together, win together", I don't believe one single statement from those lying SOB's. It was bad before the PUPs. After the bonuses, it became irreconcilable.

Default Md 80 ad?

When are the 80s supposed to be gone? Did the wiring AD get extended again? How many on the line today? That should change the math.

80s will stick around till around 2018, at least... still about 170 of them.

Has a pay rate been established for the 777-300's? If not, I hope APA pilots let them collect dust.

New routes, new hiring. Rrrriiiiight. All smoke and mirrors. Please, APA pilots, don't be fooled. Stand strong, and keep ensuring those aircraft are extremely safe and well maintained, right through the holidays.
