The new service announced yesterday starts with two flights in April(5 777-300ER's on property), one in May(6th -300ER), and one in June(7th -300ER on property).

Six current 772 flights have been announced as upgrading to 773's. That allows those 772's to push into new markets (ICN) or replace current 763 flying which frees up 763's for other routes(DUS).

IMO we'll announce another 3-5 new w/b routes or additional frequencies in existing markets before the end of next summer due to the 10 773's we'll have by EOF2013.

Since we have no contract the answer is no. 1113 and TA had 773 pay rates. Guessing that we'd have a TA, or failure of talks leading to the 1113 becoming our 'contract', before the 773's start line flying.

New routes, new hiring. Rrrriiiiight. All smoke and mirrors. Please, APA pilots, don't be fooled. Stand strong, and keep ensuring those aircraft are extremely safe and well maintained, right through the holidays.
Don't worry Mink, nobody is falling for it. Even **IF** we have a slight net increase in airframes, who's to say AA won't decide to suddenly park older aircraft previously unannounced, resulting in a loss.

As far as I'm concerned, Horton timed his "cafeteria koolaid" perfectly in time for the holidays. Translation, we announce hiring and growth, pilots are injected with optimism, and the operation trucks right on through the holidays seamlessly.

Meanwhile, Nov 1 approaches... tick tock

777-300 pay rate would be in the proposed Group 5 pay rate. Nothing set in stone yet until we get a contract.

Stephen Wolf used a similar phrase at USAirways. Turbo Growth, more airplanes coming than god can count. ToHo learned from the Wolf.

Fixed that NOV. 1 concern today. 11%. Just enough to stop the stampede.
