Actually, if you read anything that USAPA put out recently or heard at the road show. It is 40MIL equally divided to 4000 pilots, NOT 5200. The other 1200 or so are on leave or will be off property. So if you do the math it's give or take 10,000.00. For the Probies. It may be prorated just like our profit sharing is.

There is also a history of certain groups saying things to just whine and stir the %#%$, hence my point. Not that I'm accusing him of that, it's why I asked him what he was thinking instead of assuming. Now if it had been you.....

75% (SEVENTY FIVE PERCENT RJ's!) Has everyone thought through this MOU?
They are proposing huge decreases in minimum fleet/block hours, etc. AND
They can outsource 75% of narrowbody flying to RJ's. Let me just say that one more time:
They can outsource 75% of OUR flying to RJ's. Scooter, Canadair and Embraier are salivating right now.
They are offering a terrible excuse for retro pay that is a huge insult. They are reducing min guarantee.
Who would any of us ever vote yes for that?

I would ask again if you can vote as a new hire. If you check the lists, it says that you are a member in good standing. I think you should have a letter from when you joined the union that says you're a member with rights that include the ability to vote. Union manual page 14 has more information.
But as usual, I can't say for sure. Hopefully someone else will chime in.
