How close do you have to be? I wonder if it isn't just a by-product of the painting process. i.e. nothing more than 'pixels' that when viewed at normal distances looks like a solid color.

I've seen this on other airlines liveries. May or may not be the case here.

Keep the old logo, it's well known world wide and besides, the new one is just damn ugly.

I like the new one but still think the AA logo needs to stay around. It's so iconic and just fits in certain places just right.

Having seen the real aircraft with the new paint, I have softened somewhat. I'd say it is acceptable, which is better than simply hideous.

Well if Dugout is gonna be the CEO, then maybe having AA somewhere on the planes is appropriate.

I'd love to hear a 12 step plan unveiled to bring American back to profitability.
