AA guys, let me tell you something about the west guys I know. I have never had a personal bad experience with one. The worst personal interactions have been snubs, no hand shakes etc. I have met several new friends and have enjoyed my time with them. A former roommate from commuter days is a west management pilot and I'd put him up there with anybody.

Most of the east pilots I have met have been friendly and professional. Like you I've been snubbed. The FO on a flight I was jumpseating on wouldn't acknowledge me when I said hello in the cockpit. For some reason we were delayed and the captain actually came back into the cabin and talked to me for a while, real first class guy.

This is just one forum of many, and I'm sure there's plenty of people who have applied who aren't on these forums.

It would be nice to hear them starting to make calls for guys, especially with this latest round of applications.
