Quote: I have shown you the math, don't you remember? Do I really need to do it again?
Your math is faulty, I told you th last time. Don't get me wrong, you already won, going forward is just trying to minimize the harm you have cost every us pilot.

Okay math ace, prove it. You take the Nicolau award and show me how he gave us 2 out of 3 upgrades. If you are correct I will say so-more than you have done when I've proven your wrong. We have nothing else to do until Judge Silver rules.

Not that all the back and forth isn't entertaining and helps me kill time on the road but being as how this issue will not be solved in this forum I was wondering when the next court date was?

Carry on.....
All the filing deadlines are past, waiting on the Judge. No further hearing scheduled, but no deadline for an answer. She has said she will move quickly.

Quote: So we are a wholly owned part of usairways ? Should we even be integrated with American? Maybe behind the eagle pilots? Like I said, you have absolutely no moral compass and would make a fine eastie.
Why did US Airways and APA file suits stating that the DFR is ripe? Why have nondisclosure agreements been signed between US Airways, APA, AOL and USAPA? Is this an effort to drain USAPA & AOL union dues? What is managements ultimate goal here?

US Airways & APA do not care about DFR status and only want the shortest route to East/West list integration. They are leveraging a ripe DFR opinion to force a shorter SLI timeline. Management has already achieved a nondisclosure agreement and settlement negotiations are being attempted. —Why?

newAA management needs to take full advantage of AA code sharing by being free to reshuffle East/West flying. This also implies that PHX will be reduced and it's block hours outsourced to other AA/East bases with healthy O/D traffic—what other sensitive information could a nondisclosure agreement protecting?

Without an East/West settlement APA may play the bad cop in SLI proceedings and argue that APA pilots should have limited career expectations as the West class has no wide bodies, the West operation has been shrinking/unviable and US Airways management intends to further reduce PHX operations.

As a non USAPA member, cactuspilot.com is a good resource for court summaries. The website makes no effort to update its Legal Calendar so everything you find there will be after the fact and slanted.

The West class request for an injunction requiring Nicolai to be used in SLI has stalled... these is a general consensus that the DFR/SLI issue is reaching its 11th hour.

Hopefully we get a decision one way or the other in the next couple months.

Quote: You might well be right about that. Some entity might be ordered to pay you. But if that entity no longer exists, collecting might be difficult.

I would say that very statement reeks of a scab. Let me steal and when it comes time to pay we will just disappear and leave them twisting in the breeze. I say sue the company for assisting in this madness. I dont really care who pays so long as the payments are made, get it?

Thank you, anxious to see how this is finally decided. Hope it doesn't stall things with AA.

I find it interesting that you call another pilot who disagrees with you an "OUTSIDER" (thankfully sans the dozen or so exclamation marks) right after posting "a really good read by and outside person"- blogger , who describes himself as "an avid fan of the airline business "( which means what, exactly) but who does happen to agree with you. No surprise here given your propensity to use the term "scab" erroneously as well.

Me too. I don't think the money men will let that happen, no matter who they have to throw under the bus.

My Dad has a lot of sayings. On of them is "Sxxx in one hand, wish in the other and see which one get full first." I think your post falls in that category.

Well first off how should one address an outsider, call him and insider? This was not about if he agreed or disagreed with my position. His praise of the east thru his own desire to reach out to seham in an effort to gain just like the east something which was not given in the agreed upon process whereas he can inflict harm upon the DAL pilot group. He is a loon as described by his own pilots at DAL.

Now lets look at a scab a little more closely shall we. Just what is a scab? Its an individual that breaks a union usually in the form of picket line crossing in an effort to achieve personal gain. The east broke a union!! They broke this union because Seham told them that if they did they could just walk away from their agreement and start anew. The east since that time has given the west pilots what amounts to zero services, they just about kill any resolutions put forth by the west pilots. They have over turned elections because west pilots gathered more votes for certain committees within this jackass association called usapa. The east has tired to have pilots in the west terminated and jailed so Jack you tell me how should the east pilots be described?? I know as upstanding citizens of the aviation community right?? GMAFB they are low life SCABS!!!
